However, regardless of which mount you prefer, both mounts require a minimum bracket depth of 27mm and a headrail depth of 41mm for secure installation.
Inside Mount
Measure the width (W1, W2, W3) at three points and select the shortest width, then measure the height (H). The depth (D) of the window hole should be more than 6cm to accommodate the blind. Subtract 1cm from the width and use the exact height for the final dimensions.
* The depth (D) of the window hole should be more than 6cm.
** Width of Blind = Width – 1 cm
*** Height of Blind = Height.
Outside Mount
Extend the measurement beyond the window frame by at least 10cm on the width (W2) and 15cm on the height, ensuring no protruding frames interfere. Requires a minimum bracket depth of 27mm and headrail depth of 41mm for secure installation.
* Window frames protruding the wall by more than 1cm will not be suitable for the outside mounting.
** Width of Blind = Width + 10cm.
*** Height of Blind = Height + 15cm.
